Stroll weekend kicks off the holiday activities from shopping to sipping to strolling Nantucket has something for everyone to enjoy this weekend. Stroll Open House: 30 York Street

Santa Claus & Mrs. Clause are coming to Town.

Nantucket’s Town Crier officially rings in the annual Christmas Stroll on Main Street. Follow him to Straight Wharf to greet Santa. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on the island via a Coast Guard vessel around 12 noon and ride up Main Street in a horse-drawn carriage accompanied by the Town Crier. If you want to watch Santa’s arrival, be sure to go toward the wharf ahead of time.

For the first time ever Straight Wharf will be opening its doors for Stroll Weekend, the bar will offer fantastic holiday themed cocktails while the dining room is transformed into a holiday pop up shop featuring some of our favorite local designers and artisans. Pick up some great holiday gifts and enjoy some libations this weekend. The bar & grill will open on Wednesday November 29th at 5:30pm and be open through the weekend. The holiday Pop-Up Shop will be Friday December 1st – Sunday December 3rd from 12pm – 4pm.
