A separate, large pantry room leads to a small, covered porch for bringing in groceries.

A stairway leads to the open, second floor master bedroom with skylight, a built-in, birchwood, wall-to-wall dresser, walk-in closet, linen closet and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Hand-crafted details abound, such as the curved ceiling at the top of the stairs, built-in niches for sculpture displays, and an old-fashioned, wood-burning stove in the kitchen/dining room, to take the chill off a rainy day.
