The dining area has seating for eight with French doors that lead out to the side patio. The living area has comfortable seating around a decorative fireplace with a flat screen television. At the front of the house is a formal living room. A half bath and laundry room complete the first floor.
Second Floor: The master bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite shower bathroom. The two guest bedrooms have queen beds and share a hall bathroom with a shower.
Third Floor: The third floor has a large room with four single beds and a full bathroom with a shower.
Other Details: The Aaron Paddack House was originally built in 1820 for the renowned Captain of the Whaleship Diana and his family. Captain Paddack played an important role in the historical story of the Whaleship Essex, and in Nathaniel Philbricks best-selling book "In the Heart of the Sea" (pg. 189, 203, 263-4, 269. 271-2) We have the original deed from the first sale of the house on July 11, 1820.
