Alexa Coleman

Alexa grew up in Boxford, Massachusetts where she attended Masconomet Regional High School before attending Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont. Alexa was a scholar athlete at Saint Mike’s playing NCAA Division II lacrosse and field hockey while earning degrees in Political Science, Spanish, and Media Studies.

After visiting Nantucket for many summers, she decided to make the move 30 miles out to sea upon graduation to work in the hospitality industry. After her first summer living on the island, she moved to Boston and worked for Education First Travel before choosing to live on Nantucket year-round.

Alexa began working at Great Point Properties as an intern for Broker Laura Fletcher and was hired as a full-time agent in 2015. She quickly built a strong base of rental and sales clients.

In her free time, Alexa has worked tirelessly to expand Nantucket’s youth lacrosse program. She was the head coach of the island’s U15 girl’s team and served as the Director of the Nantucket Youth Lacrosse Board. Alexa has also served as the Co-Chair of The Nantucket Boy’s and Girl’s Club Tim Russert Summer Groove annual fundraiser and continues to volunteer with the event planning committee.

Alexa and her husband, Jay Egan, have two beautiful girls, Adeline and Clara. She is also a dog mom to her Belgian Malinois and American Staffordshire Bull Terrier and can be found running the moors with them regularly.
