Nantucket Weather Tips

As the saying goes, “Fog Happens” on Nantucket. In foggy conditions, ferries are usually the only way to get here. Nantucket has its own weather (do not rely on mainland forecasts since we are so far offshore). Hence, we recommend using one of the following sites for better prediction of the conditions:

Weather Underground www.wunderground.com Accuweather www.accuweather.com For the marine forecast try the NOAA site at http://www.nws.noaa.gov

We also recommend following @hylinealerts on Twitter for up-to-date ferry cancellations, and Nantucket Weather on Facebook for tips from local experts.
