Dawn Hill

Dawn was raised on Nantucket and has been back on Island full-time since 2000. Dawn graduated from UMASS, Amherst with a degree in Economics with a concentration in Natural Resources. She was VP of her sorority, Sigma Delta Tau. Dawn became a licensed real estate broker in 1998. In 1999, she lived in New Jersey, became licensed there, and worked for Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Dawn has extensive knowledge of Historic District requirements and in local planning having worked for both the  Historic District Commission and the Nantucket Planning Board office. In 2004 she began working at Sanford Real Estate, which merged with Great Point Properties in 2008. Dawn has raised two teens on the island, Kenneth (KC) and Elissa. They have two dogs as well, Rosie and Charlie.

Dawn served as a Commissioner on the Historic District Commission for 12 years. She is currently serving her 3rd term on the  Nantucket Select Board, as Chair. She was formerly the Chairman of the Nantucket Association of Real Estate Brokers Education Committee and a board member of  Housing Nantucket.
