Ethan Ulmer

Ethan grew up on Nantucket with his family in Sconset. As a year-round resident of Nantucket, where he lives with his wife, Ally, Ethan possesses deep-rooted knowledge of the local market. Before working in real estate, Ethan worked in the financial services industry in Chicago and Boston. Given his background in finance, he is quick to pick up on market trends and considers himself a numbers guy. Ethan handles the monthly and annual market data/analysis for Great Point Properties. Highly knowledgeable about the nuances and ebbs and flows within the current market, Ethan makes it a priority to educate and advise his clients, so they are empowered to make confident decisions. His expertise lies in working with buyers and sellers as they navigate the dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive Nantucket Market.

Ethan is actively involved in the island community. He serves on the  Nantucket Conservation Foundation Education and Community Engagement Committee and Co-Chairs the NCF Associates Board Events Committee. He also coaches the middle school boy's golf team in the fall and the U-15 boy's lacrosse team in the spring.. He and his wife also support several charitable functions including,  Nantucket Island Safe Harbor for AnimalsNantucket Conservation Foundation, the  Harvey Foundation, and the  Nantucket New School. They are also members of the  Nantucket Angler's Club.

When Ethan is not working with his clients, he likes being active and outdoors. You can usually find him out on the golf course, on the water fishing, or exploring Nantucket’s conservation land.
