Olivia Magnusson
A lifelong Massachusetts resident, Olivia Magnusson grew up in Groton, Massachusetts, and vacationed on Nantucket for many summers. Prior to moving to the island, Olivia worked at Boston Children’s Hospital and sold medical devices to neurosurgeons. In the fall of 2021, Olivia and her husband, Drew, made the move to Nantucket, where Olivia accepted a position at Nantucket New School. During her time there, she taught fifth grade and Upper School science. She developed deep connections within the island community and created partnerships with many local businesses.
When Olivia is not at the office, you may find her teaching yoga at 11:11 Yoga Studio or bartending at Millie’s in Madaket. In addition to her work with these businesses, Olivia is passionate about giving back to the community and serves as an active board member of the Linda Loring Nature Foundation. She also ran the Boston Marathon in 2021, raising money for Girls on the Run.
Avid anglers, Olivia and Drew can often be found on the water fishing for tuna or scalloping in October. When she’s not on the water, Olivia enjoys attending workout classes, watching sports, and walking the many trails on Nantucket. The two have fully embraced island life as Drew has launched his own property management company and oversees a portfolio of high-end properties.
