A Guide to Dining on the Island this Nantucket Restaurant Week 2026

The Chamber of Commerce has announced that Nantucket Restaurant Week is officially back this year, scheduled from September 28 through October 4. As fall is one of our favorite times to experience Nantucket, this event is a great opportunity to explore the island’s culinary scene. With fewer crowds and plenty happening on the island, it’s also a great excuse to plan a fall getaway.

What Is Nantucket Restaurant Week?

Nantucket Restaurant Week is a week-long celebration of the island’s diverse local restaurant scene. The participating restaurants offer special menus and unique dining experiences, giving locals and visitors the opportunity to discover new favorites and enjoy the flavors of the season.

Some of the participating restaurants that have already been announced include The Pearl; Billie's; or, The Whale; Sister Ship Restaurant; bar Yoshi; Slip 14; Gaslight, Black Eyed Susan's; Company of the Cauldron; The Proprietor's Bar and Table; The Summer House; The Breeze at the Nantucket Hotel; and Pip & Anchor.

Why Attend Nantucket Restaurant Week?

If you love good food and supporting local businesses, Nantucket Restaurant Week is definitely one to have on your calendar. It’s a great chance to try some of the island’s best restaurants with seasonal ingredients and plenty of local seafood and produce.

P.S. Don’t Miss the Food Truck Festival

To close the week the 2026 Family Food Truck Festival will take place Sunday, October 4 (or 11 if it’s raining!), from 12-3pm at Children’s Beach. The event will feature island food trucks, live entertainment, and games, making it a fun way for the whole family to enjoy Nantucket’s food scene.

Worried about missing out on Restaurant Week because you’re not local? There are plenty of homes available to rent across the island, so you can stay a few nights and enjoy the week without having to rush home. While Nantucket’s vacation rental market has traditionally focused on late June through early September, the fall rental market now runs at around 65% of high-season rental income, making it an increasingly appealing time to plan a stay.
