In addition to the film screenings, there are going to be multiple panels taking place over the course of these 6 days. Ruth Reichl, a New York Times and Los Angeles Times food writer and editor, will explore potential solutions to the significant food insecurity many Nantucket year-round residents struggle with. Singing about freedom and Civil Rights, Joan Baez will discuss her new documentary, revealing many social justice events she lived and fought through. If you want to continue these conversations post-panel then make your way over to the courtyard of the Sister Ship restaurant from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Thursday, June 22nd through Sunday, June 25th for complimentary coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries.
