Winter Wellness on Nantucket

Winter Wellness on Nantucket

With the start of a new year comes new habits, routines, and goals, many of them being health and wellness-oriented. And since wintertime on Nantucket can seem…quiet, we did some research on everything the island has to offer in 2024 so you don’t have to (and yes, there are still plenty of businesses open!).

Studio Nantucket

Studio Nantucket is a small boutique studio in Town offering personalized barre, bootcamp, and reformer classes. Ally, our Marketing Manager, is an instructor at Studio Nantucket, and offers plenty of early morning classes to squeeze in before work. To help you jump-start your New Year's resolutions, Studio Nantucket is offering 1 month of unlimited classes for $98. Click here for more information.

Core is a pilates studio and boutique located right next to our office in Town (hi, neighbor!). Core offers private, semi-private, and group pilates classes for people of all experience levels. The best part about taking a class at Core is you can purchase a new workout outfit on the way out! Click here for more information.

The Nantucket Club & Spa

Located downtown in The Nantucket Hotel, The Nantucket Club is a favorite among year-round residents. With a prorated price tag, the individual winter membership includes full gym access, yoga, and fitness classes, as well as sauna and hot tub use. It’s the perfect place to spend those slow Nantucket winter afternoons. Click here to learn more.

The Westmoor Club Wellness Center

The Westmoor Club is another spot that offers a winter membership for island residents, and their restorative afternoon yoga classes are a GPP favorite. This membership includes use of their gym, squash courts, yoga studio, hot tub, and sauna. Click here for more information.

EZIA Athletic Club

Located just outside of town, EZIA Athletic Club is another great option for those looking to begin their fitness journey. We love it because of their luxurious stretch loft and recovery equipment, like the cold plunge and sauna. EZIA also offers year-round personal training, and is open 24/7, making it a fantastic option for night owls. Click here for more information.

Nantucket Health Club

For over 20 years, the Nantucket Health Club has been an island staple. Membership includes access to the cardio equipment and free weights. Personal training, pilates classes, and red light therapy sessions are also available. Located just off of Old South Road, this is a quick drive for those who live Mid-Island.
