The Reuben Joy Homestead is a unique property rich in Nantucket history. Originally built by Richard Macy in 1694 at the site of the original Sherburne settlement, the primary structure was then moved to 107 Main Street in 1740. Home to numerous men involved in the whaling industry, it is said that Herman Melville visited the home while researching his novel "Moby Dick". The main house contains 4 bedrooms and 5.5 baths.
