The Kensington House on upper Main Street is located in one of the most ideal spots on the island and makes downtown shopping, access to Madaket bike path, and everything in between a breeze. There are three comfortable sitting rooms with smart TVs and bluetooth soundbars, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and granite counters, and dining options both inside and out. A patio (please note, a deck is showing in the photos, it has been removed and the patio will be photographed once finished in the spring of 2026) with comfortable furniture and a cedar outshower are awaiting your return at the end of your fun day at the beach!
First Floor
From the parking area, enter onto the covered porch and into the open kitchen with center island, adjacent to the living room with a Smart TV. Opposite the stairwell leading to the lower level is a bathroom with a glass shower, which services those sleeping in the lower level bedroom. At the rear of the house is a secondary living room with a TV, dining table for eight guests, and a glass door leading to the side patio with soft seating, a propane fire table, and an outdoor dining table for al fresco evenings.
Second Floor
There are three bedrooms on the second floor of this home. The primary bedroom has a king sized bed and a private bathroom with a glass shower. The two guests rooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with a queen sized bed share a hall bath with tub/shower.
Lower Level
At the base of the stairs and to the right is a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, each with a twin mattress both up and down. To the left of the stairs is a family room with TV, and beyond, a workout area. The bathroom for this sleeping area is located at the top of the stairs on the first floor.
