This home and adjacent cottage is one of twin Greek Revival homes on Centre Street, restored to their original grandeur in 2012. All of the amenities you would expect, with no detail overlooked. Only three blocks from the heart of downtown and close to Brant Point beaches, this home offers one of the best locations on the Island for a Nantucket vacation. There is NO OFF STREET PARKING at this property. Tenants may receive an on-street parking permit for a fee from the Nantucket Police Department on Fairgrounds road. Between the homes is a large brick courtyard with outdoor dining. There is a shared bike rack and trash receptacle between houses 70 & 72. The patio has two outdoor dining tables with seating for 10.
First Floor
Enter into a front foyer with a lovely living room to the right. There is a powder room and wet bar with wine refrigerator off the hall. Then the living flows into dining wit a table for 8. There is a den off the dining room with a flat screen tv above the fireplace and a comfortable sectional sofa. At the rear of the home is a large open kitchen with a center island and bar stools. The kitchen is a cooks dream with a 6 burner wolf stove, sub zero refrigerator, farmers sink and all the tools and gadgets you could need. There is a sitting area and a breakfast table in the kitchen as well, with a flat screen mounted over the fireplace.
Second Floor
Accessed by both a front and rear staircase there are three bedroom suites upstairs. The master is located at the rear of the house and has a king bed. The master bath has a double sink vanity and a large tiled shower. The queen bedroom suite has a spacious bath with a tiled tub shower. There are twin beds in the front bedroom with trundles underneath and a bath with a tiled shower. The hallway has a closet with a washer and dryer and a built in day bed.
Cottage
The cottage is located across the back patio from the main house and offers two bedrooms, a full bath with a tub/shower, a full kitchen with all the amenities, a living area and dining area. It also has two televisions and its own washer and dryer. The bedrooms offer a queen and two twins.
